Earlier this year, Anindita had filed an FIR accusing Hiraan of mental and physical cruelty and entering into a second marriage without divorce after photos surfaced of the actor and associate Rittika Giri performing Hindu wedding rituals in Varanasi. Hiraan, contesting this time from Shyampur in Howrah district, declared Rs 15 lakh cash in hand and Anindita's at Rs 12 lakh. His bank and insurance investments total Rs 5.3 crore.
